Privacy Policy
Introduction
At html2app, we value your privacy. This policy explains how our website and Chrome extension handle your information.
Data Collection
Our Chrome extension and website collect "User Content" in the form of HTML code blocks that you explicitly choose to publish.
- We do not collect any personal information (names, emails, passwords) unless you provide it.
- We do not track your browsing history or data on any websites other than ChatGPT (when using the extension) and html2.app.
- When using the extension on ChatGPT, we only read the specific code blocks you click "Publish" on.
How We Use Your Data
The data you publish is used solely to host your snippets as live web pages and provide you with analytics (view counts) for those pages.
Data Storage
Your published content is stored securely using Supabase. Each project is associated with a session ID stored in your browser cookies to allow you to manage your creations.
Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website (like Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database services), as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
Your Rights
You can delete any of your published projects at any time through the project settings or the dashboard on our homepage.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
